Brass threaded inserts are molded in one half of the clamp and stainless steel screws are used to tighten the halves together. Suggested uses include pet leashes, horse leads, dock and fender lines, and much, much more.

Double OT Clamp

A double OT clamp is for attaching two (2) separate ropes together or to create a loop in a rope.  They also can be used in conjunction with another double OT or rope clamp for added strength.

Rope Clamps are available in white, and black. Double OT Clamps are available in black and red. Black is the strongest. We have designed the rope clamps for solid braided nylon rope even though they work great on many different types. Some ropes (as Manila rope) it may be necessary to go to a larger size clamp for the clamps to fit properly and work correctly due to the density of that particular rope. For instance, for a 1/2" Manila rope you may have to go to a 5/8" rope clamp.

 

If the rope is very stiff or very dense, you will probably have to go to a larger size clamp.

 

For optimum strength, use the following guideline of distance between Double OT & Rope clamps:

Clamp Size -Distance

3/8"- 4 to 6 inches

7/16"-1/2" -6 to 8 inches

5/8" -8 to 10 inches

3/ 4" -10 to 12 inches
